Foursquare National Children's Ministry

Equipping leaders to make disciples.

Our vision is to support, encourage and empower our districts in developing children's ministry leadership in the local church, and to equip leaders to train and disciple those who minister to children. All of our retreats and conferences are initiated, planned and hosted by districts. Training opportunities are individualized, meeting the particular needs of each district or region. Our goal is to provide the resources needed to assist our churches in providing successful, kingdom-building, effective children's ministries.

Holy Spirit Discovery for Kids

Pastor Jack Hayford says: "The readiness of the Holy Spirit to speak to children, to bring them to Jesus and to fill them with the Holy Spirit, is manifest in Scripture and demonstrated throughout history." The Foursquare National Children's Ministry is pleased to present a new teaching series on how to educate and lead children in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus at Twelve, J12, is a ministry to tweens—those 8-12 years old. It was founded by Gregg Johnson, former National Youth Director, and comes from the the story in Luke 2 where Mary found Jesus at the age of 12 in the temple. It was there that Jesus spoke seven powerful words: “I Must be about My Father’s business.” That is the message that J12 is spreading to an entire generation of young people. J12 is committed to “reaching a generation before they need to be rescued.”

Background Checks
As part of the recently mandated Child and Youth Protection Policy, The Foursquare Church now requires that all people in all positions—staff and volunteer—that have access to children (birth to 18 years) have a criminal background check performed. The Insurance Department can perform this check for your church, school, etc. Read more
